Big Rig Towing

As the name implies, a semi-tractor-trailer truck combines a tractor unit with one or more semi-trailers to transport freight. With a fifth-wheel hitch, a semi-trailer attaches to the tractor. Towing companies in greater Vancouver may not all be able to handle Big Rig towing because they do not all have large enough fleets for this purpose.

Need a Big Rig Towing Service?

For the most part, we are called upon to clear the road of an accident such as a jackknife or to winch a large semi-truck back onto the road. Rollovers and other significant accidents are not a problem for us. A heavy-duty towing service may also be required in the event of a changeover.

Bob’s Big Rig Towing

You’ll need a category C wrecker for high-duty towing and recovery. The motortruck must be a minimum of 46,000 pounds, have a boom that may support a minimum of 50,000 pounds, have a winch that may handle a minimum of 50,000 pounds (or 25,000 pounds with extra winches), have a wheel lift that will handle a minimum of 12,000 pounds, and have air brakes. Our towing service fleet is over capable of meeting your needs.
